Todd is the Chief Social Impact Officer and cofounder of UI Charitable. He leads the Impact Services team, which supports donors in deploying grants and investments to non-501(c)(3) social impact organizations. His team enhances donor effectiveness, consults with mission-driven organizations, and curates the “Give Effectively” section of UI’s website—home to the Impact Innovations podcast and a vetted list of high-impact partners.
Prior to UI, Todd cofounded and directed Unitus, an early impact investment organization, and later founded BYU’s Ballard Center for Social Impact, the world’s largest university program focused on social innovation. At the Ballard Center, he developed the Social Impact Cycle, a framework for scaling social impact.
Todd has served on numerous nonprofit boards and currently sits on the board of University Impact. He earned a Master of Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University and began his career in the computer industry in the Pacific Northwest.
