As Chief Innovation Officer at UI Charitable, Sarah Barnes leads cross-functional innovation and establishes best practices across strategy and operations. She brings a strong foundation in financial services and corporate leadership, with experience at Salomon Brothers, Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup, The Mayfair Group, and Deer Isle Group.
Sarah has worked on both the buy-side and sell-side—as an advisor, investor, and operator. Her leadership roles span large corporations such as Leucadia Corporation and Overstock.com, as well as early-stage ventures including Daily Bread LLC, PeopleKeep (formerly Zane Benefits), and Next Gear Solutions.
She earned a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
