As VP of Impact Services at UI Charitable Advisors, Joellen drives philanthropic and impact advisory efforts, while fostering the next generation of social impact leaders. With corporate and nonprofit experience, she excels in program and partnership development having worked and collaborated with Gap, Macy’s, Disney, Target, Patagonia, JC Johnson, Kering Foundation, Swarovski Foundation, and EcoAge. Previously, Joellen launched the inaugural consumer-facing global sustainable strategy, Gap for Good and consulted 100+ SMEs at Nest (nonprofit), linking them to global value chains, rippling out to job creation for women globally. She co-founded a Cambodian social enterprise backing artisans. She holds a Masters in Social Innovation from Cambridge University and a BA from Michigan State University. Joellen's work on "The Impact of a Formal Work Environment on Marginalized Women” was showcased at Cambridge University's Frontiers in Social Innovation Conference and ISIRC Milan. Joellen is a differently-abled and diversity advocate, as a female-professional with Tourette’s Syndrome.
